Hello :)
My name is Phoebe and I am the founder of Golden Moons Bakery! I make allergen free english muffins that are GLUTEN FREE, VEGAN, SOY FREE, SESAME FREE, and NUT FREE. Each english muffin is made by hand and cooked on cast iron. All of the equipment is dedicated to be free of the allergens mentioned above.
As someone with allergies to gluten and dairy I understand the importance of keeping my product safe for everyone to enjoy.
My Story
As a child I grew up outside of West Philadelphia and spent my summers staying with relatives all over Maine. Some of my fondest childhood memories are from right here in the midcoast, which lead to my migration here in 2021.
When I was 16, I learned of my allergy to gluten. This sparked my deep dive into nutrition as a whole and eventually to studying Nutrition and Dietetics at West Chester University of Pennsylvania. Since graduating, I have worked in a variety of nutrition related fields from integrative medicine, food service, and corporate wellness. I enjoyed working in these fields, however making great tasting food that is also healthy has always been where I have the most fun. So why not share this joy with everyone else?

These english muffins were originally just a fun treat I made for myself and friends, since a good gluten free english muffin can be hard to find. I began feeling that all gluten free folks should get to have access to these scrumptious breakfast sandwich makers, and poof Golden Moons Bakery was born! With a few simple tweaks, I was able to hone in my recipe to avoid some additional allergens as well.
I'm very proud to say these english muffins are free of the BIG 9 allergens!
